Security for sensitive sites: identity checks and access traceability
On sensitive sites, every visit must be authorised, monitored and traceable. Hamilton Apps centralises checks and security events.
Visit approval in advance: apply control workflows before visitors and contractors arrive.
Real-time visitor tracking: see visits in progress, pending or completed.
Incident management: centralise reported events and the actions taken to deal with them.
Follow-up through to resolution: keep a clear view of the tasks to be done and their progress.
Why choose Hamilton Apps to secure your buildings
Because security does not stop at access control. Hamilton Apps connects with your existing systems to link each visitor's identity, permissions and entries, and ensure end-to-end visitor traceability.
Event traceability: increase security across your sites
Every security event remains recorded and accessible over time: access denied, badge deactivated, incident reported or action taken. This history makes incident analysis, audits and compliance monitoring easier.
All information is centralised in a single environment, which simplifies searches during an inspection. IT therefore has a shared view of security events and can more easily spot recurring incidents to improve security procedures.
Visitor reception: secure every visit with approval workflows
On sensitive sites, approval workflows define the checks and authorisations required before the visitor arrives. Each journey adapts to the site, the visitor's profile and the level of security required.
Approvals are completed in advance to make arrival smoother: the visitor knows the steps to follow, the host keeps visibility of the visit and reception teams have the information they need to carry out checks.
Secure reception and increase security across your sites
When a security incident occurs, every minute counts. Events, instructions and actions to be taken are centralised so that teams can respond quickly and follow the situation through to resolution.
This visibility helps coordinate responses more effectively, spot recurring incidents and increase building security day to day. It also complements the measures already in place for identity checks, badge creation and visitor reception.
For IT, this continuity provides a consistent view of access, security events and the actions taken, without multiplying tracking tools.
Frequently asked questions about visitor management on sensitive sites
Can a badge be limited to certain sensitive zones only?
Yes, each badge is configured zone by zone: a visitor or a contractor only accesses the authorised areas, without extending their access to the whole site.
How long does it take to create a badge?
Creating a badge takes a few minutes, by entering the photo, the validity period and the authorised zones.
Does access control require IT involvement for every badge created?
No. Badge creation and deactivation are managed from the Facility Manager's dashboard. IT steps in only once, when the SSO is configured.
What happens if a badge is lost or stolen?
The badge is deactivated remotely, immediately. The access it allowed is closed without waiting for a physical replacement.
Is access traceability data hosted in France?
Yes, the data stays hosted in France and is accessible according to the rights defined by your IT department.
