The visitor management solution has helped Safran in the following areas: A centralized visitor management tool to meet the requirements of a highly secure and sensitive working environment, around a high-security visitor management system and the group's security issues. The tool enables all staff members to pre-register internal and external visitors in a single, easy-to-use portal.

Flexibility of use helps reception and security teams to organize resources with maximum security.

 

Hamilton Visitor - visitor management software :

Hamilton Visitor SSR, a local version, meets the Safran Group's high-security requirements: a high-security solution that complies with data management regulations. The SSR (Sites Sensibles et à Risques) version is designed for sensitive sites.

A series of validation flows has been set up according to access zones. No visitor can access with a standard registration: only the pre-registration functionality is authorized. E-mail notification of the visit specifies the reception zone, the authorized zone and the type of accompaniment required for the visitor.

To reinforce security, we introduced the concept of multiple badges, required for all visitors. For implementation at all sites, we installed the solution for the head office, then opened access to the 13 other sites.

Safran Electronics & Defense is an international company with over 10,000 employees. It mobilizes its expertise and team spirit to design high-tech solutions for the aerospace, defense and space industries.

Challenges

Safran is an international group, classified as a sensitive site. The group was looking for a high level of security at the entrances to 14 sites located in Europe. It is crucial for the security team to be able to track all visitor entries and access requests using a secure, team-friendly tool. All visitors must first pass a security check before access is granted.
